Information you submit

We collect information you choose to give us through the forms on this site. The contact form and the Book a Review form ask for your name, email address, and message, and may include your organization, role, phone number, and jurisdiction. Our free-resource forms ask for your first name and email address so we can send you the file you requested.

We do not ask for sensitive personal information, and we ask that you not send it to us through these forms. If you need to share something sensitive, contact us first and we will arrange a more appropriate method.

Information collected automatically

When a form is submitted, our server briefly records the requesting IP address in memory to rate-limit abuse. It is not written to a database and does not persist beyond a short window.

If you arrive from a campaign link, the referring page and any campaign tags in the URL (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term) are captured in your browser and included with a form submission, so we know which page or campaign brought you here.

Analytics and cookies

This site can load Google Analytics to measure page views and basic interactions such as which buttons are clicked, and Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymized session activity — pointer movement, scrolling, and clicks — to show how pages are actually used. Both are loaded only when configured, and each sets its own cookies and identifiers under its own privacy policy.

We use these to understand which pages are useful, not to build profiles of individuals. You can block them with browser privacy settings, an ad or tracking blocker, or your browser's Do Not Track and cookie controls.

How we use information

We use what you send us to reply to you, to schedule and prepare for a review or demo, to deliver a resource or product you requested, to fulfill and support a purchase, and to keep records of our own business correspondence.

If you asked for a free resource, we may follow up about related E&F work. Every such email includes a way to stop receiving them, and you can also reply and ask us directly. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

Service providers

We run this site on third-party infrastructure rather than our own servers, which means some of your information passes through those providers:

• Resend — sends our transactional and follow-up email and stores contact lists.
• Airtable — stores certain contact-form submissions so we can track and respond to them.
• Stripe — processes payments for digital products. Card details go to Stripe directly; we never receive or store them.
• Vercel — hosts the site and stores the product files delivered after a purchase.
• Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — analytics, as described above.

Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy policy. We share with them only what the relevant function requires.

Retention

We keep business correspondence and inquiry records for as long as they are useful for the relationship and for our own records, and purchase records for as long as we need them for accounting and support obligations. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.

You can ask us to delete the information you have given us by emailing team@efcompliance.com, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

Security and its limits

We use reputable providers, keep credentials out of the browser, and limit who can reach the systems that hold your information.

No website or email system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that information sent over the internet is protected in transit or storage. Please use your judgment about what you send through a web form, and do not use it for confidential or legally sensitive material.

Children

This site is intended for organizations and working professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We update this policy when the site's practices change — for example, when we add or remove a service provider. The date at the top reflects the most recent substantive change. Material changes will be reflected here rather than announced individually, so it is worth re-reading if it matters to you.
